“First Sunday Walk” (so called because they take place on the first Sunday of each month!)
| These walks offer a great opportunity to explore beautiful and unspoilt parts of our part of Sussex, meet old and new friends from different churches and who knows maybe you could invite friends who “don’t do church”? Sunday November 6th at 2.00 pm Brede and Beyond Meeting at Brede Parish Church to explore the area around. Note earlier starting time during winter months Sunday December 4th 2.00pm Hidden Jewels of the Park A walk through Old Roar Gill and less visited parts of Alexandra Park – countryside that may surprise some! Meet at 242 St Helens Road (park on main road or in King Edward Avenue) Sunday January 1st 2.00pm Start the Year Together Meet at Wellington Square Baptist for a walk over West Hill and through the twittens of Old Town and along the seafront to St Leonards – with a chance to pray God’s blessing on the town. All are invited to share lunch together at Wellington Square Baptist Church from 1pm – bring a contribution to share with others There is no charge to take part, and sometimes there is even tea and biscuits to follow – or in the summer people can bring picnics. Good walking boots/shoes are needed, children welcome as are dogs. All walkers take part at their own risk |
A Healing Room in Hastings
| Healing prayer is available every Saturday from 3-4pm with a trained team of caring people from many churches across town, at the Salvation Army Citadel, St. Andrews Square near the town centre.
